Privacy Policy

The data controller for the Fobim Yok website and mobile app is their developer, Yusuf İshak Damar ("Fobim Yok"), based in Türkiye. Contact: info@fobimyok.com.

• The app has no accounts. Your anxiety ladders, session records, anxiety ratings, thought records and preferences are stored only in a local database on your device; they are not sent to us or to third parties.
• The app contains no advertising, ad tracking, or analytics/tracking tools.
• Reminder notifications are created locally on your device; notification permission is only requested if you turn on reminders.
• The Reading section downloads blog articles from fobimyok.com. As with any web request, our server may technically keep your IP address and the time of the request in short-lived server logs; this information is not used to identify you.
• You can delete your data completely at any time with Settings → Delete my data (in the app: Ayarlar → Verilerimi sil), or by deleting the app. Depending on your device settings, your data may be included in device backups (e.g. iCloud device backup).

• Email forms (e.g. the quick phobia test): your email address, your consent, the site language you used and the time of sign-up. If you signed up after completing the quick phobia test, your test score (0–9) and result level are also stored. Purpose: to keep you informed by email about the app, new guides and important updates.
• Legal basis: your explicit consent. Because a test result may be considered health-related information, it is processed only with your explicit consent.
• Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregate statistics that don't identify you (page views, referring site, country, device type) without using cookies.
• Google Analytics: we also use Google Analytics for visit statistics. This service places analytics cookies in your browser and transfers usage data (page views, approximate location, device and browser information) to Google.
• The website does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Email addresses are kept until you withdraw your consent or the purpose of the list ends (at most 2 years after your last sign-up); they are then deleted or anonymized.

Website data is stored on servers of our hosting provider in the Netherlands. We use Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC (Google Analytics) for visit statistics. Your data is not sold or shared for advertising; it may only be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law.

Depending on the law that applies to you (for example Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to:

• find out whether your data is processed and request information about it,
• access, correct or delete your data,
• object to or restrict certain processing,
• withdraw your consent at any time,
• lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

You can send your requests to info@fobimyok.com; we will reply free of charge within 30 days at the latest. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the link in our emails or by writing to us.
